Dr Danker, who was the founder and chairman of public relations firm Perception Management Inter-national, was also suffering from breast cancer.
According to Perception Management International CEO Kishore Ravuri, Dr Danker’s remains would be cremated in London, where she had been staying for the past seven years.
Prior to setting up her own public relations firm 18 years ago, Dr Danker had served as Petronas corporate communications head.
She was also involved in writing assignments for heads of state, prime ministers, ministers, as well as chairmen and CEOs of public-listed and multinational companies, and government agencies.
Dr Danker, who died at 2am yesterday, leaves behind husband Major (Rtd) Amal Kamar Chaudhury and daughters Joy Melissa, 38, and Pia Melanie, 33.
