KUALA LUMPUR: Police on Friday concluded its site investigation into Wednesday's bus crash at Genting Highlands that killed 37 people.
Bentong police chief Supt Mohd Mansor Mohd Nor said they concluded inspection of the area while the bus would be sent to the Bentong police headquarters for further investigation.
"A complete report on the incident will be ready after we receive all results from forensics, the Road Transport Department, Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Reseach (Miros) and relevant quarters.
"We will compile results of the investigations and summarise what happened...I cannot say when the results will come out but we will do it as soon as possible," he told reporters at the scene.
The operation to pull out the bus frame ended at 12.45pm.
The bus crash at Km3.5 of Jalan Genting Highlands on Wednesday claimed the lives of 37 people, including the bus driver, and injured 16 others. - Bernama
