SNAKES are entering our houses, say residents of Taman Intan Tiga, Taman Jaya and Taman Intan in Klang.
Malaysia Nanban quoted a resident S. Ayappan, 54, as saying that lack of maintenance by the Klang Municipal Council workers had resulted in clogged drains, rubbish heaps and thick undergrowth in the open areas.
He also said that there are few houses, which had been left abandoned.
He said the last clean-up was in April.
“The thick undergrowth had become a haven for snakes, which sometimes sneaked into the houses, and we had to seek the services of the Fire and Rescue Department to remove them,” he added.
Ayappan hoped the elected representatives and councillors in the area would look into their problem and take the necessary action to solve it.
