KOTA KINABALU: A massive crackdown on the thousands of illegal immigrants in Sabah is in the final stages of planning and set to kick off soon, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said.
The integrated operation to be coordinated by the Federal Special Taskforce on illegal immigrants will involve the police, Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) and the military as well as the National Registration and Immigration departments, he said when responding to a question from Datuk Joniston Bangkuai (BN-Klias) at the state assembly sitting.
