KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has dismissed an application by the Attorney-General to stay its order to release Iranian Sajad Farhadi, whose re-arrest in court had caused an uproar.
Justice Mohd Azman Husin held that the Public Prosecutor had failed to show special circumstances to grant the stay against Sajad Farhadi, 34, who is being sought by the United States for conspiracy to violate the Iran Embargo.
