Chua: More than one reason for brain drain woes


PUTRAJAYA: One cannot pinpoint a single factor to Malaysia’s brain drain problem as there is a combination of factors at work, said MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek.

Dr Chua was referring to Singa-pore’s former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew’s comment in his book One Man’s View of the World in which he blamed Malaysia’s acute brain drain on the Government’s insistence on promoting “one race above others”.
