Many foreign workers end up being cheated

MALAYSIA Nanban reported that social activist T. Kamalanathan said that some employment agents promised foreign workers lucrative jobs but left them stranded once they entered the country.

He claimed that many foreign workers had either sold or pawned their land, houses and even their wives’ thali (sacred thread) based on the promise that could earn more money.
