CHERAS: The MCA service centre in Taman Midah here was splashed by paint on Saturday.

Branch vice chairman Teoh Chee Hooi said he had come back to the service centre at 9.30pm to pick up his car when he noticed a plastic packet in front of the shutters.

"I thought someone had thrown a pack of coffee on the front door. But when I looked closer, I realised it was brown paint," he said when met at the scene.

He also discovered that two more packs of paint had been thrown at the signboard as well.

After viewing the service centre's CCTV recordings, Teoh said the vandals arrived at about 9.20pm but stood just out of the camera's view.

"Police will come back on Monday to view the recordings from the neighbouring shoplots," he added.
