Politician’s son charged with helping to embezzle RM500,000

KOTA KINABALU: The son of a politician was charged with 66 counts of abetting an accounts clerk embezzle more than RM500,000 from a restaurant.

Wong Vun Siaw , 28, who is the son of Sabah Progressive Party vice-president Datuk Wong Yit Ming, was charged in the Sessions Court here with abetting criminal breach of trust under section 109 of the Penal Code.
