MACC detains three ex-officers


PUTRAJAYA: Three former high-ranking officers from a subsidiary of one of the country’s biggest government-linked companies (GLCs) have been detained by the Malay­sian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to help in investigation into abuse of power, believed to have caused losses totalling millions of ringgit for a food industry project.

Two men were detained in Kuala Lumpur yesterday evening while the third individual was detained in Johor Baru at about 8pm yesterday.
