KOTA KINABALU: Five of the 30 people charged for various security offences in connection with the Sulu gunmen intrusion in Lahad Datu district last February have opted to switch their lawyers.
The five - Ismail Yasin, Basad Manual, brothers Binhar and Anwar Salip and Atik Husin - had opted to be defended by a team of lawyers engaged by the Philippines led by Kuala Lumpur-based Datuk N Sivananthan and local counsel James Tsai.
