GEORGE TOWN: Several men gambling with cards took a giant gamble with their lives and jumped into the sea to escape police arrest during a raid against illegal gambling at a fishermen's hut, near the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway, here, early Sunday.
State CID deputy chief, ACP Mohd Nasir Salleh said in the 3am raid, police arrested six men aged between 31 and 55 while other gamblers escaped by jumping into the sea.
