SHAH ALAM: Some 50% of local councillors in Selangor will be “rested” this year following a new state policy to cap their maximum tenure to two terms.
State executive councillor Datuk Teng Chang Khim said an exception would be made for the other 50% to ensure continuity within the local councils.
