PETALING JAYA: Syndicates trying to make a quick profit from the illegal sale of subsidised diesel are said to be the culprits behind the shortage of the fuel at some petrol stations here.
Suspicion that these syndicates are smuggling and reselling the controlled item came to light after a visible increase in the usage of subsidised diesel as opposed to the usage of non-subsidised diesel which has remained stable.
