GEORGE TOWN: Beggars have turned up in droves in the inner city of George Town to take advantage of the generosity of Muslims during the month of Ramadan.
State Welfare Services Department (JKM) director Zulkifli Ismail said the beggars who included those from Cambodia and Myanmar were spotted outside mosques and all over the inner city.
