Singer Datuk Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin will not allow her husband to ride superbikes any more, confessing she had developed a phobia after his serious accident last year, reported Kosmo!

She said Datuk Seri Khalid Mohd Jiwa, better known as Datuk K, was still interested in riding motorcycles but was also traumatised by the accident, which happened in New Zealand on Dec 13.

“After the accident, Datuk K gave several of his superbikes to his closest relatives because he had a phobia about riding them.

“In my heart, I would also not allow him to ride a motorcycle again,” she added.

Datuk K suffered neck, feet and hand injuries in the accident.

However, Siti Nurhaliza said, they still attended charity events organised by superbike clubs or associations.

“We will continue to give our support to such noble efforts,” she said.

> Artiste Ashraf Muslim said the reason for his absence from the Bicara Cinta Anak Muda programme by Majalah 1 last Saturday was solely due to a health problem and not to evade the press, reported Sinar Harian.

“I would like to apologise to the organisers as well as the audience,” he said.

On the controversy that he married secretly for the second time, with former production crew Wan Sakinah Ahmad Saburi in Thailand earlier this month, Ashraf said it was not the time for him to elaborate on the matter.

“If possible, I do not want to talk about it because it is personal. It will be better if I keep quiet.

“Even if I tell the truth, it may be manipulated. I hope the press can understand my situation,” he said.
