KUALA LUMPUR: The Government should control the intake for critical courses in private institutions of higher learning (IPTS) to avoid an oversupply of such graduates, said MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek.
Dr Chua said the public institutions of higher learning (IPTA), however, should not reduce the intake for critical courses because they were there to provide affordable education for the poor.
