SHAH ALAM: European champions Chelsea entertained some 50,000 fans and showed a young Malaysian XI side a thing or two about football on Sunday.

Jose Mourinho's boys won  their Malaysian leg of their pre-season tour of Asia with a 4-1 win at Shah Alam Stadium on Sunday.

After taking a 3-0 lead in the first 45 minutes, Nigerian youngster Victor Moses and Mohamad Fadzli Shah scored in the second half for the 4-1 final scoreline.

Chelsea opened the scoring with Bertrand Traore making good a pass from Belgian international Kevin De Bruyne.

After that, Chelsea was on a relentless attack first with Romelu Lukaku firing a stinging shot that was saved by goalkeeper Farizal Marlias.

Farizal had nervy moments throughout the first-half and in the 17th minute, an off-position Farizal was nearly fooled by an audacious shot young star Traore.

In the 28th minute, Kevin De Bruyne scored a thumping goal as he nudged his way past Aidil Zafuan and Azizi Mat Rose and letting go a first-timer that beat Farizal.

That goal was a painful one as De Bruyne was stretched off with an injury.

In the dying minutes of the first half, Lukaku scored the third goal of the game after beating the offside trap and finishing with finesse to give Chelsea a three-nil lead.
