Nigerian movie director gets jail and caning for possessing drugs


SHAH ALAM: It was not a happy ending for a Nigerian movie director who was caught with 2.4kg of methamphetamine and sentenced to 15 years in jail for drug possession.

Ifeanyi Johnpaul Aguonu, 38, was also sentenced to 10 strokes of the cane for the offence he committed at the international arrival hall at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang at 10.45am on March 11, 2011.
