KUALA LUMPUR: Borders Bookstore will seek an early hearing date on the withdrawal of a charge against its manager over the distribution of a book by Canadian author Irshad Manji.
Nik Raina, 37, was charged with distributing the book entitled, Allah, Liberty and Love (The Courage to Reconcile Faith and Freedom) by Irshad deemed to be against the Islamic Law (Hukum Syarak) and banned in Malaysia on June 19, last year.
