GEORGE TOWN: Some 320 traders in four “Little Indias” in the country will close shop today in protest against organisers of shopping carnivals for muscling into their business.
The planned protest – reminiscent of the bandh, or general protests often held in India – has not gone down well with the public and a consumers group who claimed the traders do not have a monopoly on business.
