Malaysia defeats Pakistan 3-1 to set up fifth-place classification match with Japan


JOHOR BARU: Malaysia defeated Pakistan 3-1 in their classification match Saturday to set up a fifth place play-off against Japan in the FIH World Hockey league semi-final.

Mohamed Razie Rahim (14th minute) and Tengku Ahmad Tajuddin (38th) were on target for Malaysia, while the third goal (19th) came by way of an own goal from Pakistani goalkeeper Imran Butt.
