Obese orang utan put on strict diet


Spoilt by tourist and slightly obese orang utan named Jackie enjoying the out door exhibit at Lokawi Wildlife Park in Kota Kinabalu where she is undergoing rehabilitation after 22-years of living close to humans at the Sabah's pouplar toursit attraction of Poring Hotsprings in Ranau for the last two decades.

KOTA KINABALU: An obese orang utan has been put on a strict diet as wildlife rangers hope to rehabilitate the ape back into the wild.

The 22-year-old female orang utan, named Jackie, had to be rehabilitated as it spent most of the last two decades consuming junk food provided by tourists at Poring in Ranau under Sabah Parks.
