KUALA LUMPUR: The Federal Territory Islamic Religious Department (Jawi) has failed in its bid to stay a High Court order to quash its case against Borders store manager Nik Raina Nik Abdul Aziz.
As such, Jawi will have to withdraw its case against Nik Raina, pending its appeal against the court's decision to allow Berjaya Books Sdn Bhdchallenge the legality of Jawi's raid of a Borders bookstore.
