PETALING JAYA: Cloud seeding operations will be carried out in worst haze affected areas in the country, said Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Datuk Seri G Palanivel.
“The operation will be managed by the National Security Council under the Prime Minister's Department,” Palanivel told Star Online.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassimwhen contacted confirmed that he would be holding a press conference at 3pm Sunday to announce details of the programme.
The press conference will be held at Shahidan's office at Parliament.
