KUALA LUMPUR: On top of seeking an apology, the families of the 24 victims in the incident known as the Batang Kali massacre 65 years ago, want the British Government to build a permanent memorial to commemorate their loved ones.

Lim Kok, whose father Lim Tian Swee was allegedly beheaded in the incident, said his family had suffered after the death of his father, who was in his 40s at the time.
