RAWANG: Enraged animal lovers, along with the police, bore down on a man who hit his dog with a hoe and threw a brick at the animal at his home in Taman Garing Permai here, leaving the animal with open wounds on its head.
Members of the Malaysia Independent Animal Rescue (MIAR) spent over an hour trying to stop the man from hitting his dog, Jacky.
