HAVING successfully increased public transport ridership by more than 100,000 persons in just three years, the Urban Public Transport National Key Results Area (NKRA), through the Government Transformation Programme (GTP), is aiming at improving and enhancing connectivity moving forward.
The extensive infrastructure, laid down in 2010, has seen the ridership during peak hours increase from the baseline number of 226,184 to 334,598 persons last year.
