GEORGE TOWN: A deaf-mute who robbed a woman of her bag has been sentenced to seven years’ jail and ordered to be given one stroke of the rotan by the Sessions Court here.
The woven bag that Ramli Zainal, 34, snatched contained a work pass, a payslip, a toilet paper roll, a punch card, locker keys and a water tumbler.
