KOTA KINABALU: A Pakistani trader told the Royal Commission of Inquiry that he was now stateless after he lost the Malaysian “identity card” he obtained in a coffee shop here in 1992.
Abdul Latif Jumani – also known as Abdul Latif Aziz Khan – said he arrived in Kuala Lumpur in 1983 before heading to Sabah and settling down in the west coast Papar district to sell clothes and toys.
