KUALA LUMPUR: The trial of former National Feedlot Corporation Sdn Bhd (NFCorp) consultant Datuk Shamsubahrin Ismail continued today, as both he and the company agreed that the fee for consultancy and corporate advisory services rendered was RM2.75mil.
Shamsubahrin is charged with five counts of cheating NFCorp executivechairman Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Salleh Ismail, 65, into providing the services to NFCorp and handing over cheques worth RM1.755mil to him as well as 17 counts of money-laundering. Mohamad Salleh said the RM2.75mil was a 12-month service bill and this was agreed verbally during their first meeting at a restaurant in Bukit Tunku on Nov 20, 2011.
