KUALA LUMPUR: Police will set up a new Crime Prevention Department with the primary objective of formulating strategies to prevent and reduce crime.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the establishment of department, which would be headed by a director, was in line with the police's ultimate goal of zero-tolerance towards crime.
