Mingguan Malaysia columnist Awang Selamat says Utusan Malay-sia should not accept new advertisements from AirAsia unless AirAsia X CEO Azran Osman-Rani apologises to the daily.
Awang Selamat is a pseudonym used by the newspaper’s edi- tors.
Awang said Utusan would not face any problems without advertisements by AirAsia.
It was reported that Azran had openly lambasted Utusan Malaysia as racist for publishing a controversial front-page story headlined “Apa lagi Cina Mahu?” on May 7.
> Local singer Farawahida Razali (pic) is hoping to get hitched this year although no date has been fixed yet, reported Berita Harian’s entertainment pullout, B Pop.
The 28-year-old singer said she could not confirm her wedding date as her family was still checking on the availability of a hall to host the kenduri kahwin in her hometown in Taiping.
“I also need to ensure that the wedding takes place when my sister returns home for a visit,” Fara-wahida said.
The singer, who is known for the song Tanpa-mu, is set to marry her 29-year-old beau, who works at a health centre in Kuala Lumpur.
