No comment on minister post until I’m a Senator, says Wahid


NUSAJAYA: Datuk Seri Abdul Wahid Omar has declined to speak about his appointment as a Minister in the Prime Minister's Department until he is sworn in as a Senator next month.

The Maybank president and chief executive officer said his main focus now is to continue serving in the bank before swearing in as Senator."I can't give comments on my duties as a minister in the new cabinet line-up until I begin my service in the Government," he told reporters in a press conference on Saturday.
