More tourists to Sabah despite Sulu gunmen intrusion

KOTA KINABALU: Initial worries about the impact of the Sulu gunmen intrusion last February appears to be unfounded as the number of visitor arrivals in Sabah had in fact increased in the first three months of the year.

State Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun said Sabah recorded more than 718,000 visitor arrivals between January and March this year compared to the 684,000 visitors during the same period last year.
