Papa Gomo wants new lawyer to defend case against Anwar


KUALA LUMPUR: Blogger Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris, better known as Papa Gomo, wants to appoint a new solicitor to defend a defamation suit filed by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim against him.

Anwar’s lawyer Muhammad Afiq Mohamad Noor said Judicial Commissioner Lee Heng Cheong was told during the proceedings in chambers that Papa Gomo asked for time to file his defence statement as he was involved with work in the general election.
