PUTRAJAYA: Umno will issue a show-cause letter to Che Johan Che Pa demanding an explanation over his 11th hour withdraw as Barisan Nasional's candidate for the Pasir Mas parliamentary seat.
Umno and Barisan secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said they were caught off guard by Che Johan's move to withdraw from the contest on nomination day.
