PUTRAJAYA: The contest has officially begun, as Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Rakyat gear up for a straight fight over who will take the federal territory of Putrajaya come polling day on May 5.
Amidst the hushed silence of thousands of supporters from both camps, returning officer Haitamil Ishak announced that the candidates vying for the seat are incumbent Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor for Barisan and PAS vice-president Datuk Husam Musa for Pakatan.
