JOHOR BARU: PKR candidates who received their letters of authorisation will have to consent to a binding agreement which states that they have to pay RM5mil compensation to the party if they leave it for another.
Party deputy secretary-general Steven Choong said that the agreement includes candidates who decide to contest as independents or jump ship to a different party after receiving the letters of authorisation.
