GE13: Voters to get ballot papers only after being marked


PETALING JAYA: Voters will be marked with the indelible ink before being given their ballot papers to prevent any confusion that may come about if a person is marked after they cast their votes, said Election Commission chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof.

“What happens if a person puts in the ballot paper and then runs away before being marked or refuses to be marked? That is why we are doing it this way,” he said.
