GE13: Strong mandate by Sabahans will enable Govt to boost security in Esszone

KOTA KINABALU: A strong mandate from Sabahans would enable the Government to implement more measures to boost security in areas within the Eastern Sabah Safety Zone (Esszone), said Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishamuddin Tun Hussein on Sunday.

He said though much had been achieved over the past month to ensure that the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) got off the ground with its launching by the Prime Minister on Saturday, more still needed to be done.
