KUALA LUMPUR: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar has reminded district police chiefs (OCPDs) not to take side in dealing with cases during the general election to maintain the integrity of the force.
"The role and duty of the police during elections are as usual, namely to ensure peace, security and public order are under control," he said in a posting on the police Facebook.
