SHAH ALAM: A former deputy director of a regulatory body has been slapped with a RM1.25mil fine and sentenced to five years in jail for abetting his wife in soliciting a RM250,000 bribe.
Noor Mohamed Khan Mohamed Mastan, 40, from the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC)’s content and enforcement division, was found guilty of assisting Suraya Hani Ahmad Zaki, 32, in the offence.
