PETALING JAYA: PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail will not be contesting in the general election, said her husband and Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
“Azizah was able to lead the coalition, particularly PKR when I was in prison. She remains president but she has decided not to contest in the elections,” he said in an interview with Al-Jazeera.
