GEORGE TOWN: Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng has taken up Penang Barisan Nasional chief Teng Chang Yeow's (pix) challenge to face the latter at Padang Kota.

Lim, who is DAP secretery-general, said he would stand against Teng for the Padang Kota state seat, which Teng held for three consecutive terms until he lost the seat to DAP's Chow Kon Yeow in 2008.
