MALACCA: With the elections looming, politicians and aspiring candidates have been receiving unusual demands from opportunists seeking money, favour and business opportunities.
Besides dealing with some tall orders himself, Kota Melaka's Barisan Nasional public complaints bureau chief Ronald Gan said party colleagues who were aspiring candidates faced requests such as trips to Sungai Golok and money to buy mobile phones.
