GEORGE TOWN: The Consumers' Association of Penang (CAP) has slammed the state government for its short-sightedness in pushing through the 6.5km undersea tunnel project.
Its president S. M. Mohamed Idris said the project "is not a long-term solution" to Penang's traffic woes and urged the state to reconsider the project by rethinking the whole basis of the current transport policy.
