KUALA LUMPUR: Former Public Service Department (PSD) director-general Tan Sri Abu Bakar Abdullah has been appointed Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) chairman, succeeding Datuk Seri Abdul Azim Mohd Zabidi whose tenure lapsed on June 30, 2009.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, who is also Finance Minister, made the three-year appointment, which took effect on March 1.
