Myanmar couple’s argument ends in hubby’s death

SHAH ALAM: A 25-year-old Myanmar national was stabbed to death by his wife after a heated argument.

The incident occurred at their rented home in Taman Bukit Kinrara at about 2.30am on Sunday.

Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Mohd Adnan Abdullah said the 27-year-old wife had lost her temper and rushed to the kitchen to grab a knife.

He said the couple have been in Malaysia for more than a year.

“After stabbing her husband, the woman called his friend to confess what she did,” SAC Mohd Adnan said.

The friend, who works as a blacksmith, rushed to the house before alerting the police.

The wife was arrested immediately.
