SEMPORNA: Mustarim Fermin, 31, packed his mattresses and clothes as he headed out of Kg Simunul Tuesday morning, after hearing rumours that the village would be burnt.
“We have not experienced this type of thing before so I am not taking any chances,” he said, as he left with bags, saying he was staying with a relative and would return once things are calmer.
